About the team
We have an opportunity within NSW Fair Trading's Strata & Property Services Investigations Unit for an experienced senior investigator.
Reporting to a Principal Investigator, your work will primarily involve investigating offences under the Property Stock and Agents Act 2002 and Strata Scheme Management Act 2015. You will manage your own investigations and collaborate with your team on evidence gathering and related tasks.
What you'll do:

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have investigative expertise with experience in conducting thorough investigations
- Possess regulatory knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance, and enforcement
- Demonstrate critical thinking with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Be skilled in communication and negotiation to engage diverse stakeholders
- Remain calm, impartial, and focused under pressure
- Be willing to travel within NSW with minimal notice
Must-Haves:

Please submit an up-to-date CV and a cover letter (no more than 2 pages) outlining your relevant knowledge, skills, and experience.
