Overview

Director, Property & Services role at St Joseph's Nudgee College is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the management, maintenance, and development of the College's physical assets, infrastructure, and operational services. This pivotal role ensures our facilities and grounds are safe, functional, and aligned with the College's strategic vision in the Edmund Rice tradition.

About the Role

You will lead the Property & Services Department, including the Maintenance, Grounds, and Operations teams, while managing contractors, compliance, and capital projects. With responsibility for asset management, WHS, and long-term infrastructure planning, you'll play a key role in supporting the College's mission through high-quality environments and services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a diverse operational team and external contractors
  • Oversee maintenance schedules, asset lifecycle management, and compliance
  • Provide strategic input into master planning and capital works
  • Ensure WHS and risk management standards are met across all facilities
  • Develop and implement asset management and renewal programs
  • Manage budgets, procurement processes, and service contracts
Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities management, project management or related field is essential
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Required Skills
  • Proven leadership in facilities, property, or asset management
  • Strong WHS knowledge and practical application
  • Experience delivering capital works and managing complex infrastructure
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
