Site Manager – Data Centres

With a healthy and growing pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager (Senior Site Supervisors will also be considered). The role focuses on safety, quality and managing site operations across projects in line with programme and cost parameters. You will work with passionate teams to deliver high-quality buildings and fit-outs for customers and contribute to Kapitol's success and growth. We are a fast-paced and growing company, seeking people who thrive on success and take pride in their work.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee operations on site in accordance with project programmes and budgets
  • Ensure trades on site operate safely and deliver in line with contractual obligations
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environment and Quality processes and legislative requirements; instil a safety culture on site
  • Use the Hammertech system to capture and report on site operations
  • Undertake regular Health and Safety reviews
  • Run daily pre-start meetings
  • Identify and proactively manage risks and non-compliance issues
  • Ensure inductions, records, registers and licenses are in place for people and plant on site
  • Coach and mentor graduates and junior team members on site
Qualifications
  • A genuine passion for the construction industry and a focus on safety
  • Experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Supervisor, ideally in a Tier 1 or Tier 2 environment
  • An understanding of best practice construction and safety methodologies
  • A strong track record of safe and high-quality delivery of construction projects
  • Experience across a range of project types and industries (commercial, residential, education), including both new builds and fit-outs (desirable)
  • Ability to manage and influence construction teams, subcontractors and consultants
  • Experience with Hammertech or similar safety systems (desirable)
  • Collaborative approach and a focus on teamwork
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously
