Service Coordinator — Full-time or Part-time; Permanent; Hybrid.

The Role

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate services to elders in their home, employing a client needs mentality.
  • Coordinate the delivery of in-home services to elders living at home according to stakeholder requirements, quality standards and program guidelines.
  • First point of contact for clients for service arrangements.
  • Represent MiCare externally to engage different stakeholders.
  • Manage and facilitate the transfer of information across all stakeholders efficiently.
  • Support Personal Care Assistants in the delivery of services.
What We're Looking ForQualifications
  • A qualification relevant to the role and function of this position, such as a Certificate III in Business Administration or Aged Care.
Experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and rostering programs.
  • High-level administration skills, including data entry and computer operations.
  • Knowledge of the Home Care Standards and compliance.
  • Working understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
  • Working knowledge of employment Awards and EBAs relevant to Direct Care staff.
  • Understanding of the ageing process.
  • Previous experience in rostering and coordinating, preferably in an Aged Care environment.
  • Experience with Client Management Systems, such as AlayaCare.
  • Experience with general office duties and inbound calls.
