About the role

QMW Industries Pty Ltd are recruiting experienced Heavy Fabrication & First Class Welders with skills in multiple welding processes to join our High-performance team in Acacia Ridge, QLD. The role will involve the fabrication and welding of a wide range of products and equipment, from complete Fuel Lube Service (FLS) modules, Water and Fuel Tanks, Elevated Work Platforms and Machinery Attachments, to ROPS/FOPS/OPG's, OEM Cabin refurbishments and many other custom products and services to support our customers evolving and demanding business needs.

What you'll be doing

Fabricate and weld heavy industrial components and structures to high quality standards

Utilise a range of welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication

Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards

Assist with the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tools

Collaborate with the wider fabrication team to support delivery of projects in full and on time

What we're looking for

Qualified welder with a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent

Demonstrated experience as a First Class Welder on heavy fabrication projects

Proficient in a range of welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SMAW

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of relevant welding codes and standards

Safety First and Continuous Improvement mindset

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
