Heavy Fabrication & Welding Expert

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Fabrication & Welding Expert to join our team in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy industrial fabrication and welding, with experience in multiple processes including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and weld heavy industrial components and structures to high quality standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the wider fabrication team to support delivery of projects on time.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a First Class Welder on heavy fabrication projects.
  • Proficient in multiple welding processes including GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and SMAW.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
