The Client

Our Client is a Mackay-based Government Department that works with other Government agencies to manage their building, construction, and maintenance requirements.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced professional with a passion for managing building projects and delivering high-quality outcomes? We are seeking a dynamic Superintendent Representative (Contract Administrator) to join our team in Mackay. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in coordinating and managing a range of construction projects, from pre-design to post-construction activities.

  • Manage all stages of building projects, from planning and design to construction and completion, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Coordinate teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • Oversee contracts using various systems to ensure projects run smoothly.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling daily operational issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to keep projects on track and achieve milestones.
  • Track project budgets and timelines, creating reports and conducting audits to assess performance.
  • Assist the Senior Project Manager with service fees, billing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow and enforce quality assurance processes to maintain high standards.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration or project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with customers and project teams.
  • A results-driven mindset with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project auditing and reporting to track and manage performance.
