White Peak Digital is looking for a Web Designer with proven expertise in WordPress and Shopify to join our talented Brisbane team.

A Day in the Life of a Web Designer @ White Peak

Your typical week would include:

  • Collaborating on and executing website designs in Figma, translating client briefs and strategic goals into compelling user interfaces
  • Building responsive, high-performing websites in both WordPress and Shopify, utilising page builders (like Elementor) and custom HTML/CSS to deliver pixel-perfect results
  • Designing custom website assets using the Adobe Creative Suite, including icons and banners, to enhance visual appeal and user experience
  • Working closely with our Production team and clients to refine designs, manage feedback and implement technical solutions
  • Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support for existing client websites, ensuring optimal performance and functionality
About You
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar web design/development role
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your UI / UX design and development work
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building custom websites with WordPress and Shopify
  • Deep expertise with WordPress page builders, particularly Elementor
  • Proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong skills in HTML & CSS
  • A solid understanding and practical application of UX & UI principles to create intuitive user journeys
  • Exceptional communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, Google Analytics and the technical aspects of web performance is highly desirable
