Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Kitchen Stewards to join our kitchen team on a Full Time basis. You will ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are in effect throughout the kitchens, cool rooms and equipment. As a member of the Kitchen team, you will maintain excellent work standards, assist with the efficient setup of functions, maintain chemical standards, assist in the preparation of stocktakes and ensure the overall cleanliness of the Kitchens is of a high standard. Good availability including nights and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and safety across all kitchen areas and equipment.
  • Assist with efficient setup of functions and events.
  • Maintain chemical usage and storage standards and assist with stocktakes.
  • Collaborate with Kitchen team to maintain overall cleanliness and hygiene standards.
What you will look like

You will possess:

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen hygiene procedures and practices, Occupational Health & Safety procedures, chemical usage and storage and HACCP standards.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to take initiative and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Availability to work full-time hours, including nights and weekends.
