**The Organisation**

Adelaide Venue Management Corporation (AVM) operates three of Adelaide’s most iconic and commercially successful event venues - the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC), Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) and Coopers Stadium.

**The Role**

The Adelaide Convention Centre is seeking a passionate and driven Stewarding Team Leader on a permanent part time basis to assist in leading our Stewarding team. This role is permanent part-time with a minimum of 15 hours per week, however given the current level of forward event bookings, will more often be closer to full time hours.

**Key Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Stewarding Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

- Assessing all event requirements for cutlery, crockery and glassware and assemble for distribution to events.
- Collection, washing and safe storage of cutlery, crockery, and glassware at the conclusion of the events.
- Maintain the dishwashing areas to a clean hygienic condition.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all food preparation and service areas.
- Ensuring all staff are actively coached, trained and mentored towards optimum levels of performance.

**About you**

Through your ‘hands on’ approach you will enjoy providing practical, positive leadership and guidance to an experienced team of stewards.

The ability to effectively lead and positively influence a culturally diverse team of stewards, with a broad range of scholastic and communicative abilities is essential.

Good availability and flexibility over a 7-day roster, working days, nights and weekends is paramount.
