Who we are looking for

We're looking for a Cyber Risk and Awareness Analyst to play a critical role in protecting our digital platforms and educating staff on cyber safety. They will help shape our strategic direction by mitigating cyber risks and aligning cyber security initiatives with our corporate objectives.

This is a full-time ongoing position based in Warrnambool and comes with a generous salary of $99,465 to $110,954 p.a. plus superannuation.

Job Description

What you'll be doing

On a day-to-day basis, you'll:

  • Evolve our cyber security awareness program, creating awareness campaigns and training modules to address emerging threats and increase the vigilance amongour users.
  • Develop engaging awareness materials including presentations, e-learning content, newsletters and infographics to promote secure practices.
  • Work collaboratively across business units to continuously identify, assess and understand cybersecurity risks in the context of people and technology
  • Assist in ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal cybersecurity policies.
Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone with

  • Tertiary qualifications, a diploma or recognised industry certification in technology, risk, education or business.
  • Significant experience with cyber security concepts and processes in practice.
  • Industry certifications such as CRISC, CISSP or MCP is desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cyber standards such as NIST 800 series, ISO 27000 series or equivalent.
