At Sydney Gymnastics & Aquatic Centre, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service. We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented Customer Service Officer to join our team part-time. The day-to-day:

  • Provide prompt, professional, and courteous customer service
  • Answer customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities to upsell products and services
  • Attend to Café orders

Our perfect fit:

Someone with high-level customer service and data entry experience, excellent presentation, and clear communication skills. Ability to stay updated with current class schedules across Gymnastics and Aquatic programs, and provide information on our products and services to members.

Part-time availability on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm (20 hours/week), with hours subject to change due to events and business needs.

What you will need to be considered:

  • Exceptional customer service skills face-to-face, over the phone, and via email
  • Knowledge of the sport and recreational industry is advantageous
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task accurately
  • Reception/administration experience essential
  • Food handling and café experience (desirable)
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Quick learner about our precinct and classes
  • Full Australian work rights
