The OpportunityAs part of our Asset Management Division at La Trobe Financial, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and grow our commercial relationships with Financial Advisers across South Australia. This extends to supporting existing strategies and the successful launch of new products to the market. You will represent La Trobe Financial in a professional, friendly manner and demonstrate our corporate values.
Key Responsibilities- Responsible for outbound communication with Financial Advisers to arrange appointments/follow up meetings
- Promote La Trobe Financial's full asset management product suite - supporting existing strategies and the launch of future strategies
- Activating leads to Financial Advisers, Dealer Groups and Platforms
- Achieving sales targets, generating activity and managing relationships with key financial planning groups
- Plan and implement a successful strategy to achieve sales targets, generate activity, partner with internal stakeholders, and manage relationships across clients
- Database management
- Weekly Reporting to Head of Distribution
- Effectively and regularly communicate with Financial Advisers, Dealer Group & Platform Representatives
- Travel as required for client business, divisional workshops, presentations, PD days and conferences etc
This role requires the successful applicant to possess a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, preferably business, commerce or finance. Additional skills and experience required include:
- 5+ years sales experience in asset management, financial planning industry or similar field
- Proven track record in business development;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong ability to problem solve and handle objections.
- Self-motivated to achieve company targets in line with divisional objectives
