Overview

We are looking for talented, dedicated, and experienced Café All-Rounders (Barista experience an advantage) to join our team at Merlo Toowoomba stores: Wyalla, Russell St and Xpress.

Multiple Café All-Rounder / Barista roles, offering 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each customer feels welcome and appreciated.
  • Prepare and serve coffee and beverages to Merlo standards.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies.
  • Follow health and safety procedures.
  • Educate customers about our coffee blends, brewing methods, and menu options.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • Passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about coffee preparation and presentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
  • Flexible availability across the week and weekends.
