Wellbean Co is seeking an experienced Kitchen Leader to join our team and ensure that high quality, nutritious food is available for staff, patients, and visitors at our Toowoomba Hospital and Baillie Henderson Hospital locations.

THE ROLE

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and may include occasional weekend hours.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the kitchen ensuring high quality, nutritious food is available.
  • Collaborating with the Cafe Manager and Toowoomba Hospital Foundation to develop menus that abide by Darling Downs Health requirements
  • Continuously looking to improve profitability and minimising costs and wastage without compromising standards and customer service
  • Manage and ensure all catering is prepared and delivered on time
  • Ensuring food standards, procedures and processes are followed
  • Adhere to hygiene and safety requirements
  • Preserve and store food appropriately
