Purpose of the role

Lead comprehensive sustainability reporting for Youi in line with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards. Drive the development and delivery of Youi's sustainability strategy and policies, engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business.

Key priorities
  • Lead the sustainability / climate reporting for Youi, ensuring compliance with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards and any other mandatory disclosures.
  • Oversee comprehensive ESG reporting to the Board and wider Group.
  • Lead the ongoing development and implementation of Youi's climate change strategy and transition roadmap, aligned with Youi's overall business strategy.
  • Provide technical accounting advice, including advising on emissions measurement methodologies.
  • Guide and support the automation of climate-related metrics.
  • Engage stakeholders through education and collaboration on ESG initiatives across the business, including at Executive and Board level.
  • Assess and mitigate sustainability risks in line with the risk management framework.
  • Champion Youi's values, driving continuous improvement and positive culture.

About you- Experience & Knowledge:
  • CA or CPA qualified, with at least 3–5 years' experience in financial reporting (desired).
  • Strong knowledge of AASB S2 and sustainability standards preferred.
  • General insurance / financial services experience preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and the ability to research and apply technical concepts in a constantly evolving field.

Ways of working

Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday, remote Mondays and Fridays.

Sippy Downs & Fortitude Valley:

This role requires at least one day a week at our Headquarters in Sippy Downs and can be based at either our Headquarters or our Fortitude Valley office for the remaining in-office days of the week.
