Overview

Behaviour Support Practitioner - Clinical Practice Advisor role at National 360.

Available offices: Deer Park, Bundoora, Ringwood, Dandenong South & Cheltenham.

National 360 is an Australian provider of community-based allied health services offering Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Behaviour Support, and Early Childhood Intervention.

The Role

As a Clinical Practice Advisor, you will shape and uphold best practice standards across services within the PBS stream. You will mentor and support fellow practitioners, provide expert guidance, and ensure quality outcomes that improve lives in the community. You will also deliver direct clinical services to your own caseload, support the team through co-working, undertake clinical intake appointments, and review complex reports and plans. You will collaborate with the National Clinical Lead and Leadership Team to guide strategic objectives across client care, operations, marketing, and business growth.

Key responsibilities include supervision and professional development for Behaviour Support Practitioners; delivering evidence-based services via an independent caseload while guiding practice and ensuring quality outcomes; assisting with recruitment, staff development, and induction programs; evaluating assessment/intervention tools; ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, restrictive practices legislation, and internal policies; delivering and reviewing complex Behaviour Support Plans; collaborating with clinical and operational leaders; contributing to national clinical projects; supporting performance reviews, scheduling, and documentation; and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

About You

You are an experienced and endorsed Behaviour Support Practitioner (Advanced or Specialist level) with strong clinical and leadership capabilities. You will bring:

  • Endorsement as 'Advanced or Specialist' against the PBS Capability Framework.
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social Sciences).
  • 5+ years' experience in behaviour support, including assessments, interventions, and Behaviour Support Plan development.
  • Proven ability to deliver behaviour support directly to clients as part of an independent caseload.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and mentoring NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioners.
  • Strong knowledge of the disability, health, and aged care sectors, including NDIS and community-based settings.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements, including restrictive practices legislation.
  • Background in clinical education, quality improvement, or service delivery projects.
  • Specialist expertise in one or more areas, such as Mental health/psychosocial disability; Restrictive practices; Active Support; High-risk behaviours; Criminal justice involvement.
  • Full Australian working rights.
  • Access to your own vehicle and a current driver's licence.
  • Current or willing to obtain a NDIS Workers Check and Working with Children Check.
