Sunlight Health Co is Hiring | Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Sunlight Health Co is a professional and compassionate organisation based in Blackburn, Melbourne, committed to delivering high-quality behavioural support services to children and adults. We're currently seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our dynamic and supportive team.

Who You'll Work With

Clients primarily include children, with some adult cases

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Intellectual Disability (ID)

Your Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive functional behaviour assessments to understand the underlying causes of challenging behaviours.
  • Developing and implementing tailored positive behaviour support plans.
  • Providing training and support to individuals, families, and support teams on plan implementation.
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as psychologists and social workers, to provide comprehensive support.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of behaviour support plans and making necessary adjustments.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and participating in ongoing professional development.

About You

  • A passionate and patient individual with a strong commitment to person-centred support.
  • Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) experience. Experience in functional behaviour assessments and behaviour support plan development.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Mandarin fluency is highly regarded
  • Hold relevant qualifications and NDIS Commission registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
