Overview

Serco, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia. The Workforce Coordinator role is part of the Operational Support Centre (OSC) and supports Serco contracts across Australia by optimising staff utilisation, strategic and operational workforce planning, and roster compliance with industrial awards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end roster processes, including building, optimising, and maintaining rosters.
  • Maximise staff utilisation and recommend strategies to meet service delivery KPIs.
  • Ensure rosters align with industrial instruments and Serco policies.
  • Provide reports and analytics to inform recruitment decisions.
  • Drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business.

  • Strategic workforce analysis – 30%
  • Workforce management administration – 20%
  • Reporting and analytics – 10%
To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience with workforce management methodologies and Workforce Management Software systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
