Senior Asset Management Officer

Salary: $102,340 – $108,555 per annum

Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

Full Time Permanent

The City is seeking an experienced and qualified Senior Asset Management Officer to provide support to the Asset Management Services Business Unit in implementing the City's Asset Management Strategy. In this role you will be responsible for:

Financial valuation and reporting of infrastructure assets.

Data management and maintenance of infrastructure assets.

Statutory and City reporting of infrastructure assets.

Supporting the development of the annual 5 Year Capital Works Program.

Documenting and supporting the development of strategic asset management systems & processes.

To succeed in this role, you will bring prior experience in asset and works management processes, along with strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Experience with strategic asset management, training in municipal infrastructure and Local Government Experience will be highly regarded.

Applicants are required to hold a Current WA 'C' Class Driver's Licence.

To be considered, please submit a covering letter (no more than 2 pages) addressing your experience in the following areas:

Tertiary qualifications in, or significant progress towards, Asset Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Spatial Sciences, or another Strategic Asset Management relevant qualification, and/or equivalent relevant experience.

Comprehensive experience in developing, maintaining, analysing and reporting on assets, work, and/or financial inventories and datasets.

Demonstrated experience in accounting and valuation processes and standards for infrastructure assets.

Demonstrated experience in maintaining strategic asset management, work management and/or geographic information systems and datasets.

Demonstrated experience in local government legislative, statutory and corporate reporting requirements.

Industry accreditation in, or significant progress towards, Strategic Asset Management, Infrastructure Planning, Asset Financial Management, and/or equivalent relevant experience.
