Position Profile

We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and enthusiastic person to the position of Staff Development Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED) at Perth Children's Hospital. In collaboration with the ED Nurse Educator and the departmental Clinical Nurse Manager, the Staff Development Nurse is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the knowledge and skills of nursing staff in the ED; the planning and implementation of specific education and training programs and the provision of support for new staff, including orientation and preceptorship.
