About Our Client

Our client is an established manufacturer in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, turning over more than $250 million per year.

Job Description

  • Lead the reconciliation of the balance sheet, identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to ensure ERP modules are correctly configured
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility across finance and operations
  • Prepare monthly management reports including P&L, variance analysis, and commentary
  • Conduct detailed inventory analysis including valuation, movements, and cost allocation
  • Partner with operations and supply chain to understand cost drivers and improve margins
  • Support budgeting and forecasting across multiple business units
  • Perform product costing and profitability analysis
  • Assist with capital expenditure tracking and ROI analysis for new investments

The Successful Applicant

  • Available immediately or at short notice
  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar
  • Experience in inventory or product-based environments
  • ERP migration / troubleshooting experience is highly regarded
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate with operations
  • Strong analytical skills, including inventory and profitability analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to SLT
