CareWays Community has been providing services to the community for more than 35 years through in-home care and support for the elderly, Neighbourhood Centres and Youth Services.

About the Role

This position reports to the Aged Care Senior Manager and is a permanent full-time role, working 830-5pm Monday to Friday in our Dapto office.

Responsibilities
  • Establish, plan and coordinate rosters for the care workers; identify roster gaps and ensure coverage for vacancies and roster cancellations.

About You / Qualifications

To be considered you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications at Certificate 3 level and/or 3 years' experience working in a high-volume rostering position in the aged care or disability sector
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and priorities tasks, work effectively with minimal supervision and under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines and use resources effectively and efficiently
  • Excellent data entry and computer skills with sound knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Problem solving skills with the ability to think creatively
  • Understanding and awareness of industrial instruments in relation to rostering employees
  • Demonstrated flexibility to accommodate changing needs and/or situations as they arise day to day
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Experience with Visual Care (desirable)
