Asset On, part of the COSOL Group, is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance planning services for Australia's mining and resources sector.
We specialise in supporting operational success through reliable planning, scheduling, and systems-based solutions.
COSOL and Asset On Group currently have an exciting role available for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a mining operation in the Bowen Basin on a Monday to Friday DIDO roster.
This is a long-term contract role with no set end date, offering a chance to make a real impact on fleet performance and maintenance efficiency.
About The Role Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for: Leading and managing fleet maintenance planning to ensure optimal use of labour and resources Coordinating procurement of parts, services, and consumables to support maintenance activities Monitoring workshop inventory and negotiating best pricing with suppliers Maintaining detailed fleet records, including repairs, mileage, servicing, and documentation Building strong supplier relationships and monitoring contractor performance Tracking and reporting on maintenance progress, budgets, and compliance Supporting the site's safety culture by adhering to SHMS and promoting safe practices Contributing to continuous improvement of planning procedures and systems About You To be considered for current and future Maintenance Planning positions, we are looking for the following skills:3+ years' experience in heavy mobile maintenance planning, ideally in a coal mining environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project Experience with mobile fleet and maintenance systems (Pulse highly regarded)Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills A strong safety focus and commitment to continuous improvement Why Join Asset On?Opportunities to work with high-profile clients across the resource sector Ongoing support from a dedicated, friendly resourcing team Career development focus and regular engagement check-ins Be part of a high-performing team that values innovation, respect, ownership, integrity, and collaboration Australian Citizens and Permanent residents will only be considered for the position.
