Field Service Diesel Fitter Job

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our team in Rockhampton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, efficient and compliant diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to our customer base across mining or heavy industry environments.

This role involves working as part of a team using your trade qualifications and experience to maintain service and repair mobile equipment.

  • Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic Automotive Electrician Plant Mechanic or similar.
  • Experience in maintaining servicing and repairing mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Skilled in diagnosis and fault finding in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair maintenance and service in the field.
  • Understanding of customer support requirements.
  • Able to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
  • Team player who adheres to and promotes Company values and behaviours.

Key Requirements:

  • Trade qualifications in Diesel Mechanic Automotive Electrician Plant Mechanic or similar.
  • Experience in maintaining servicing and repairing mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment.
  • Diagnosis and fault finding skills in the mechanical assessment of machinery for repair maintenance and service in the field.
  • Customer support understanding.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Strong team player with adherence to and promotion of Company values and behaviours.
