About the Role: IRT is investing in our leadership capability, creating an exciting opportunity for a Hospitality Team Leader (Aged Care Employee- level 5) to lead the planning, ordering, preparation and compliance of our site-based food service, laundry and cleaning operations.

We are looking to appoint interested and enthusiastic individuals to work in in our Aged Care Centers at IRT Dalmeny: Permanent Part time role with minimum 32 hours per week.

Your work will include: Leading, mentoring and supervising hospitality employees, including reviewing performance Responsibility for the planning, ordering and overseeing the preparation of all meals (complying with resident dietary requirements) and light refreshments to ensure residents enjoy a quality food experience Ensuring food safety documentation is complete and that all work practices meet HACCP requirements.

Ensure all corrective actions are completed with specified timeframes Ensuring deliveries are received and processed in accordance with IRT food safety plan Monitoring IRT cleaning contractor team members to ensure cleaning standards are met Ensure the management and delivery of hospitality services meets Aged Care Quality Standards and is in line with IRT's policies and procedures Participating in the recruitment, selection and orientation of team members in line with IRT's policies and procedures To Be Successful You Will Have Certificate IV in Hospitality (or similar)Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or willingness to obtain)Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain)Proven experience in a similar role Sound verbal, written, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated problem solving, negotiating and organisational skills Ability to plan and prioritise own work and/or work of others to meet deadlines Demonstrated understanding of the Aged Care Quality and Food Safety Standards Benefits for you Competitive pay and more cash in your pocket (less tax) with not-for-profit salary packaging Flexible working conditions Birthday leave - relax and take a day off on usProfessional and career development opportunities Multiple career pathways Discounted gym memberships Free counselling via Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and staff wellness program How to Apply If you feel this is the right role for you, we'd love to hear from you Please contact IRT Recruitment (recruitment@irt.org.au).
