About the Curriculum directorate The Curriculum directorate is responsible for supporting the implementation of policies and design of high-quality evidence-based resources and tools to support curriculum implementation across P–12.
We coordinate special programs, and we lead the department's response to the NSW Curriculum Reform.
About the role The Editor supports the delivery of high-quality print and electronic publications and resources that are consistent with Departmental requirements.

About you You are a detail-oriented and skilled editor with a strong commitment to producing high-quality print and digital publications.
You lead the edit, review and refinement of content in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure it meets departmental standards.
You bring expertise in accessibility and style guidelines, ensuring all materials effectively support learning and teaching in diverse educational settings.
With excellent project management skills, you thrive in delivering multiple initiatives on time and within budget, while collaborating confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
Your strategic mindset and ability to provide clear, well-considered advice contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in educational resources.
Key knowledge and experience:
• Proven experience leading and coordinating the delivery of high-quality print and electronic materials and projects for diverse stakeholders within tight deadlines, all while meeting departmental requirements, including style guides, accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.0) and branding guidelines.
• Proven experience editing long- and short-form content, with expertise in applying style guides, accessibility standards and branding guidelines for both print and digital media.
