The department is responsible for the reporting of financial compliance matters broadly to internal and external stakeholders (including regulating authorities).
The role is also responsible for developing and maintaining financial reporting tools, using suitable market platforms available to WA Health agencies.
This position ensures appropriate budget targets are set and monitored across WACHS.This position managers three teams: Business Improvement, Budget Strategy & Risk and Audit.
Broadly the department aims to promote better understanding of WACHS' service delivery models and ultimately improved financial performance.Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
