$36.00 per hour plus super and penalties - Weekly Pay Contracted Position Through Hays with the opppurtunity to go permanent Part-Time Hours Available Your new company Our client is seeking a reliable and friendly Medical Administrator to support the smooth operation of their busy private health practice.

This is apart-time position, working 3 days per week, with the potential for additional hours as needed.

Your new role In your new role as medical administrator, you will be reporting to the Practice Manager while working alongside other medical receptionists.

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including; Assisting in general administration / reception duties Typing of reports and medical correspondence Entering patient data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality Maintaining and updating patient records Processing patient billing and receipting Scheduling patient appointments What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful in this position, you will have: Effective interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on exceptional customer service Sound level of skill in office administration procedures and practices Experience in working with Microsoft word, excel and outlook Attention to detail and high literacy skills Polite and courteous phone manner Previous experience in a medical or health environment is desirable A working knowledge of medical billing procedures and the ability to process Medicare and other payments is desirable.

What you'll get in return This is a part-time position, and is located within a busy private health practice.

You will be offered an immediate start working on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.
