Faculty Leader - Identities & Futures / Faculty Leader - English Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Full Time Applications Close: 8 September 2025 Positions of Additional Responsibilities available: Faculty Leaders x 2, commencing January 2026.
Faculty Leaders provide leadership of their respective faculties, including curriculum and learning, teachers and pedagogy, and facilities and resources.
They play a critical role in ensuring the College offers a high-quality, contemporary learning environment that supports students to achieve personal excellence and readiness for future study, work, and life.
A time allowance of approximately 0.4 FTE is provided to fulfill the responsibilities of the position.
Faculty Leader - Identities & Futures Position: 1 x full-time ongoing teaching position, PAR tenured for 2 years Responsibilities: Oversee the curriculum, teaching, and learning for Exploring Identities & Futures, Activating Identities & Futures, and VET in School subjects across Years 7-12.
Monitor students' progress regarding SACE Identities & Futures requirements, intervening as necessary.
Lead and oversee the Australian Business Week program for Year 10.
Develop and oversee future opportunities for VET in School programs.
Identify and build relationships with industry and business partners for student internships.
Collaborate with the Futures and VET coordinators to support events such as career expos and course counseling.
Faculty Leader - English Position: 1 x full-time ongoing teaching position, PAR tenured for 2 years Responsibilities: Oversee the curriculum, teaching, and learning for English subjects (7-12) and English as an Additional Language (EAL) subjects (7-12).
Lead the development and implementation of knowledge-rich curriculum programs aligned with relevant frameworks and requirements (e.g., MYP, Australian Curriculum, SACE, VET), including maintaining relevant documents (scope and sequence).
Model and share high-quality, evidence-informed, and contemporary teaching practices that align with the College's learning direction and curriculum programs.
Support, monitor, and mentor faculty staff, fostering professional growth and leadership opportunities.
Monitor students' progress regarding SACE literacy requirements, intervening as necessary to ensure students meet the compulsory literacy standards of the SACE.
