Your new teamWorking as part of the Test Team, this role will help maintain consistency and usability of online systems via ongoing Automated testing, as well as ensuring application changes meet both specification and customer journey requirements.
They will also be required to represent business stakeholders in maintaining system functionality and business logic.

They will also be required to represent business stakeholders in maintaining system functionality and business logic.The roleDevelop / Maintain automation frameworks along with supporting documentation.
Develop / execute automated test cases for highly complex financial services applications.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that provide automated and timely feedback on quality of our applications.
Be a key contributor in Test Community of Practice, sharing and introducing advancements and better practices in test automation.
Work with Functional Test Analysts to ensure high risk areas have adequate coverage with automated tests.
Help establish and refine risk-assessed test strategies for application and API testing.
Champion an Automation First approach to testing, while working with developers and test analysts to achieve this.
Provide on call assistance as required.
EssentialWhat experience you'll bringExperience3 – 5 years as an automation engineer Demonstrated sound communication skills, including with technical staff, end-users and management.
Demonstrated experience in Soap UI, Postman, Selenium Java Web Driver, Cucumber & headless browsers is preferable.
Experience with Bitbucket and Bamboo Experience building / extending automated test frameworks Demonstrated sound skills in problem solving, time and resource management, and have the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
Pragmatic and resilient to change.
Desirable: (if applicable – relevant to the position, which an applicant may have or which can be developed)QualificationsQualifications, Education & Training RequirementsPostgraduate degree.
Affiliation with Technology Institutes.
Knowledge of Auto and General products and services.
