Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites for both frontend and backend components, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Agile development processes
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand application requirements and define effective testing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and automated test playbooks for both functional and non-functional components.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Continuously enhance automation frameworks and integrate new tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain high standards of test code quality.
  • Support the testing process by managing issues and defects from identification through to resolution and closure

Experience:

  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks including Cucumber, Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions as part of a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in software testing, with a strong focus on integration and API testing.
  • Hands-on experience performing system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing and co-ordination in a complex environment.
  • Utilizing various tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, REST Assured) to create comprehensive test suites for APIs and understanding of swagger.
  • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation in relation to testing activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate testing progress and risks and assist with reporting on these items appropriately to key stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to debug and troubleshoot automation scripts and testing issues.
  • Experience with test management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA and Azure Test Plans.
