3+ year Lawyer – Corporate and Commercial Law CBD location Full time permanent role At Longton Blackwell, we are committed to delivering tailored, high-quality legal services and being a trusted advisor in solving our clients' problems with care, trust and deep expertise.
We are looking for lawyers with three to six years generalist corporate and commercial experience to join our fast-growing team.
You will provide a range of legal services, and your work mix will include corporate and commercial legal advice across numerous facets of legal challenges facing business operators, you will be involved in commercial contract negotiations, representation of clients in resolving disputes prior to litigation, and many other tasks in support of our many clients.
Key Responsibilities Day-to-day carriage of various commercial matters Assistance with small and large complex matters Liaising with and advising client Drafting correspondence and court documents.
Conducting client conferences Maintaining high levels of communication with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders Researching legal issues Assisting senior lawyers with case preparation Skills And Experience Minimum three years post admission experience Previous experience and background in Corporate & Commercial Law Exceptional research, analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability at understanding and managing the details to deliver commercially viable, accessible and legally sound solutions Demonstrated skills in influencing and persuading effectively always in the best interests of the client and organisation Proven planning and time management skills with the ability to manage workflow and priorities to meet deadlines Bi-lingual language skills highly regarded What We Offer We will provide you with the opportunity to work with a talented team in a flexible and inclusive environment with a clear focus on high quality work with a committed mentor supporting your career development.
