The position sits within this small actuarial team reporting to the Head of Actuarial & Analytics.
The role summary includes : Provide actuarial leadership in relation to financial management; Lead the provision of actuarial advice on insurance liability valuation and capital management; Lead the preparation of relevant quarterly regulatory returns; Lead the provision of analysis, insights and actuarial advice relating to financial performance and other relevant aspects to drive decision-making; Produce regular financial forecasts and scenario analysis; Manage, prioritise and deliver actuarial solutions in a high-demand environment from various business areas; Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders; Communicate business analysis, insights and actuarial advice to key stakeholders; Lead, support and develop a small actuarial team.
This is a FTC for maternity cover for 9 months.
The company provides health and travel insurance to its members.
Ideally, experience interacting with finance, risk, and strategy, liaising with senior leaders.
Seeking an individual that can hit the ground running, be collaborative, work autonomously, have an inquisitive mindset, and be proactive.
