Job Description

This is a challenging opportunity to join a dynamic team in the energy sector. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key part in the design, installation, and maintenance of power stations and supporting facilities.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering within a commercial environment and be proficient in CAD design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or MicroStation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver mechanical engineering design and documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical input for the design and development of new power stations and associated facilities.
  • Support clients with the installation of generators and equipment on remote sites.
  • Monitor and improve site processes, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of fuel gas systems, compressed air, pumping and filtration, and engine systems.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering within a commercial environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD design software.
  • Strong understanding of HSE systems and safety standards.
  • Ability to work on remote site projects when required.
  • National Police Certificate and Medical Clearance.
