The Manager will train, develop, and be accountable for the performance of Guest Experience Officers, focusing on achieving subscription membership results across all programs offered by the facility.
About You The successful candidate will work in line with peak periods to meet community needs, including evenings and weekends.
This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to monitor performance through data and process adherence.
Motivating, inspiring, and delivering training to staff are key aspects of the role.
Ideal candidates will have experience in the health, fitness, leisure, or recreation industry, particularly in management, sales, marketing, or customer service roles such as Sales Manager, Club Manager, or Customer Service Manager.
Key Accountabilities Train and develop frontline staff to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with the Guest Experience Charter Achieve set new member and growth targets weekly and monthly Provide excellent guest service both in person and over the phone Handle inquiries effectively, providing accurate information to prospective members Assist in lead generation through digital and traditional marketing activities Conduct tours of the facility to convert prospects into members Set staff rosters aligned with business budgets Participate in senior leadership meetings and projects Compile and present monthly reports Skillset Experience in sales and customer-facing environments Leadership experience in health, fitness, leisure, or recreation industries is highly regarded Strong understanding of business needs, KPIs, budgets, and service standards Ability to motivate teams to reach targets Excellent interpersonal skills Experience with social media platforms Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends Mandatory: National Police Check and Working with Children Check First aid and CPR certification Experience in team leadership, training, and development The Company Belgravia Leisure is part of the Belgravia Health and Leisure Group (BHLG), the fastest-growing leisure organization in Australia, managing health clubs, wellness and spa centers, golf courses, aquatic, and sporting venues across 150 locations in Australia and New Zealand.
