We're looking for a Broadcast Operations Manager to take charge of our day-to-day transmission and delivery services at the heart of our Frenchs Forest broadcast facility.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Technical Services & Outside Broadcast, you will lead and inspire a dedicated team of Master Control Operators, OTT Operators, and Operations Coordinators.
Your mission? To ensure every signal we send — whether live or recorded — meets the highest standard and contributes to an outstanding viewing experience.
What You'll Be Doing Lead day-to-day operations of the MCR, OTT, and Bookings teams to ensure smooth and reliable broadcast delivery Manage technical bookings and telecommunications circuits for domestic and international content transmission Coordinate internal and external broadcast facility access and support special productions Oversee scheduling and system management through Xytech Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to resolve technical issues swiftly Foster strong stakeholder relationships and champion a high-performance, client-focused culture What You'll Bring5+ years' experience managing teams in high-pressure, live broadcast environments Strong understanding of television broadcast and telecommunications workflows, technologies, and infrastructure Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven ability to manage shifting priorities in real-time A proactive approach to stakeholder engagement and service delivery Experience with Xytech (or similar scheduling systems) and a solid grasp of compliance, risk, and safety protocols in a media environment A background in sports or racing broadcast is a bonus — but not essential About Us Tabcorp is Australia's leading gambling entertainment company.
