The Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS) provides sexual assault and domestic violence services across ISLHD, including leadership and capacity building within these portfolios and within ISLHD Violence Abuse and Neglect (VAN) service system.
DFV&SAS Counsellors deliver high-quality, culturally competent, trauma-informed therapeutic counselling and support services to: People who have experienced sexual abuse (children, young people, their non-offending family members, and adults)Adults affected by domestic and family violence (DFV)Children under 10 years of age (and their families) presenting with problematic and/or harmful sexualized behaviours For more information and to view the position classification, see the Position Description here.
A Little About Us Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven's major referral and teaching hospital with over 500 beds.
The campus includes the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre and offers a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services.
Wollongong is situated an hour south of Sydney, bordered by the Royal National Park, Lake Illawarra, the Tasman Sea, and the Illawarra Escarpment.
