This is a position designed for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals who possess a genuine occupational qualification under section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to join our Domestic Family Violence and Sexual Assault Service (DFVSAS). The successful candidate will have experience working with adults, young people, and children who have experienced complex trauma, as well as a deep understanding of the key health issues affecting Aboriginal communities.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting people throughout their healing journey and possess excellent counselling skills. They will also have the ability to provide cultural supervision and education.

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must hold a degree in social work or psychology, be fully registered with AHPRA, and possess a valid NSW driver's license.
