We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager.
Join our Health and Education team at Bendigo Hospital and play a key role in delivering strategic asset management and compliance.
Reporting to the Facilities Director, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position with a possibility to extend the contract, subject to project requirements and performance.
What You'll Do This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including: Lead the delivery of asset management and compliance strategies across a major healthcare facility.
Oversee lifecycle planning, asset condition analysis, and preventative maintenance programs.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
Provide strategic recommendations to enhance infrastructure performance and system resilience.
Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and safety obligations.
What You'll Bring Engineering qualifications with technical knowledge of hospital infrastructure and systems.
Proven experience in Asset Facilities Management within hospital facility environments.
Strong understanding of ISO 55000, lifecycle planning, and performance-based contracts.
Knowledge of PPP models would be advantageous.
Ability to lead subcontractor performance and manage compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong reporting skills and attention to accuracy.
