We currently have an opportunity for an Asset Manager. Join our Health and Education team at Bendigo Hospital and play a key role in delivering strategic asset management and compliance. Reporting to the Facilities Director, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

This is a 12-month fixed-term position with a possibility to extend the contract, subject to project requirements and performance.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Lead the delivery of asset management and compliance strategies across a major healthcare facility.
  • Oversee lifecycle planning, asset condition analysis, and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to enhance infrastructure performance and system resilience.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual, and safety obligations.

What You'll Bring

  • Engineering qualifications with technical knowledge of hospital infrastructure and systems.
  • Proven experience in Asset Facilities Management within hospital facility environments.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 55000, lifecycle planning, and performance-based contracts.
  • Knowledge of PPP models would be advantageous.
  • Ability to lead subcontractor performance and manage compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong reporting skills and attention to accuracy.
