Based in Roseville, the main work locations are Sydney Metro — Northern Beaches, upper & Lower North Shore, Eastern Suburbs & Inner West.
Hours are 6.45am to 3.15pm, Monday to Friday.
We offer an attractive salary package including: company vehicle and fuel card, uniforms, and a company-provided i Pad and mobile phone (or personal paid for) with all the tools needed to work effectively.
This is a long-term proposition with potential for career growth, including supervision, estimation or running multiple crews in the future.
Responsibilities Effectively manage 1-3 landscapers, labourers and/or sub-contractors to ensure efficient construction progress.
Manage project timeframes and materials to progress construction efficiently.
Oversee material ordering and budgets.
Participate in on-the-job training for apprentices and junior staff.
Read and understand plans and written procedures.
Complete construction to a high quality with excellent attention to detail.
Lead by example and demonstrate initiative.
Apply skills in earthworks, concreting, paving/tiling, decking/carpentry, retaining, fencing, garden edging, drainage, irrigation, planting and turfing, and related landscape construction tasks.
Maintain competent computer skills (email, project management software, etc.).
Requirements / Qualifications Trade qualification in Landscape Construction (Cert III or higher).
Current NSW Driver's Licence.
Minimum 2 years of structural landscape construction experience as a qualified tradesperson.
Reliable, punctual and well-presented.
Hard-working with motivation to move projects forward.
Eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
Problem solving ability and initiative; ability to lead by example.
Ability to work positively within a team, engaging well with staff, clients and sub-contractors.
Physical fitness, good health and core body strength.
