This role focuses on assessing quality, compliance, processes, and business management while providing guidance and coaching to improve performance and strengthen key areas.
The role : Conduct quality assessments across services, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standards and AEG's balanced scorecard standards.
Provide recommendations to enhance operational performance and meet National Quality Framework requirements.
Use reporting tools to evaluate quality outcomes and deliver data-driven insights.
Identify and support training needs for centre managers and service teams.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Coach and mentor leaders to drive continuous improvement and best practices.
Stay up to date with sector trends in leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
Represent AEG as a guest speaker at Centre Manager meetings when required.
Ensure professional communication and contribute to process improvements.
Support policy and procedural enhancements to improve quality outcomes.
Plan and schedule assessments, audits, and coaching sessions to support team development.
Participate in team, state, and national meetings, including AEG conferences.
Collaborate with leadership teams to drive quality and compliance initiatives.
Promote best practices in early childhood education, business performance, and team development.
Follow all AEG policies, including the Code of Conduct and professional standards.
Commit to ongoing learning and professional development opportunities.
Skills and experience you'll need to be successful : Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
Experience in internal auditing, coaching, and assessment.
Strong understanding of ACECQA requirements and compliance standards.
Current Working with Children Check and Driver's Licence.
Qualifications in ISO auditing, management or training & assessment desirable.
Experience as a Centre Manager or in a field assessor role.
Knowledge of childcare software such as Storypark Manage and CCMS is desirable.
