We're seeking a Training & Onboarding Coordinator with retail experience to deliver engaging training and onboarding across our store network.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be in stores, building strong connections with new team members, supporting managers, and ensuring our people have the tools and knowledge to shine.
What You'll Do Deliver structured training (online and in-person) on systems, sales, and customer service Support new starters through their first days, ensuring onboarding is smooth and consistent Travel between stores at short notice to provide face-to-face training and support Create and maintain training resources (handbooks, guides, presentations, online modules)Work closely with Store and State Managers to identify training needs and improvements Provide feedback and track training outcomes to continually strengthen our programs What We're Looking For Experience in retail (essential)Training, onboarding, or learning & development background (generalist welcome)Hands-on, flexible, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments Strong communication and presentation skills Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Physically able to lift up to 20kgs when assisting in-store Ability to travel interstate and occasionally work weekends (most weeks Mon–Fri)What You'll Get Hybrid work (1–2 days WFH per week when not training in-store)Competitive salary package with car allowance Generous staff discounts across James Lane and Sleeping Giant Supportive team culture with a genuine focus on growth and development The opportunity to shape careers while growing your own Ready to take the next step in your career?Join a business with over four decades of history, known for quality, craftsmanship, and customer care.
