Strategic Initiatives and Delivery Leader We are seeking a talented individual to join our Pacific Investments team at Mercer.
This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to : Drive business transformation and lead strategic initiatives, including Project Everest, by providing hands-on contributions and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and global colleagues.
Manage stakeholder engagement throughout the initiative lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project goals, and timely progress updates.
Oversee delivery across a comprehensive change portfolio, setting milestones, monitoring progress, and mitigating risks to ensure projects meet organizational objectives.
Lead and develop a high-performing team, representing the Pacific Operating Office locally and globally to foster positive outcomes and a culture of accountability.
What you need to have : Degree in Project Management, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.7-10 years of experience in investment or asset management, with a strong background in investment operations, management, or data management.
Proven experience leading strategic and transformation initiatives.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex issues and build strong relationships.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and quality.
What makes you stand out : Experience working with third-party financial solution vendors such as Bloomberg, Factset, State Street Alpha, Jacobi, or Barra.
Demonstrated leadership in motivating teams and managing complex projects.
A strong interest in investment management and financial markets industry.
Relevant certifications or specialized training in project management or related fields.
