We're looking for a dynamic Sales & Account Manager to drive new business across Australia and New Zealand, manage strategic accounts, and lead the preparation of high-quality tender submissions and proposals.
You'll work closely with our technical and product teams, and you'll need to be confident using Salesforce to manage pipelines, activity, and reporting.
This role requires a balance of commercial acumen, exceptional writing skills, and cross-functional collaboration.
Proven ability to prepare and submit tenders and detailed proposals – this is core to the rol e Strong proficiency with Salesforce – logging activity, tracking sales cycles, and generating insigh ts Experience in B2 B sales and account management (ideally across AU/ NZ) Confidence managing multiple internal stakeholders (tech, ops, legal, finance, market ing) Ability to work across enterprise, defence, or technology sectors is highly desirable
• Secure new business opportunities across ANZ
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts
• Deliver tailored proposals and tender responses for domestic and global clients
• Provide product support and drive customer engagement
• Record all interactions and pipelines in Salesforce CRM
• Monitor feedback and identify upsell or improvement opportunities Internal Stakeholder Management
• Collaborate with product & tech teams on feature updates and solution design
• Align with marketing on messaging, content, and proposal tone
• Work with finance & ops on pricing, contract terms, and account setup
• Provide regular updates to leadership on accounts and pipelines
• Share market trends to shape product and service evolution
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements for tenders and contracts
• Support internal training to ensure consistent client engagement
• Ensure all activities follow policy, privacy, and regulatory guidelines
• Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes
• Escalate risks related to tenders or contracts
• Adhere to ethical sales conduct and promote transparency
• Ensure global/local tender compliance standards are met
• 3–5+ years of experience in sales/account management (ideally AU/NZ and US markets)
• Strong track record of tender writing and proposal preparation
• Experience with global tendering and structured procurement proc esses
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
• CRM knowledge, especially Salesforce, is essential
• High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commercial focus
• Degree in finance, sales, or similar (preferred but not essential based on background)
