This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to lead the regional indirect procurement strategy, delivering measurable value and enabling the business to operate more efficiently and effectively.You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across the region and globally to uplift procurement's role as a strategic business partner.
This is initially a 12-month contract , based in Australia, reporting to the Regional Controller AMETA.
Some travel may be required.Key Responsibilities Will IncludeDevelop and execute a regional indirect procurement strategy aligned with global objectives and local business needs.
Develop and lead a high-performing team across the region, providing strategic direction and enabling success Drive cost optimisation, supplier innovation, and process improvement across categories such as digital, fleet, HR services, marketing, professional services, IT, facilities, and travel.
Collaborate with senior leaders to embed procurement into strategic decision-making and operational planning.
Advise on the optimal structure for Source-to-Pay processes and systems, working closely with global procurement and finance teams.
Build strong internal stakeholder relationships and elevate procurement's influence across the business.
Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to inform sourcing strategies and risk mitigation.

Experience in working across APAC and/or Middle East/Africa with some exposure to emerging markets would be an advantage Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale strategic initiatives from inception to implementation, with a focus on delivering strategic sourcing outcomes across diverse markets Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering cost savings and supplier-led innovation.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with confidence operating at senior leadership levels.
Experience in procurement transformation, continuous improvement, and digital enablement.
A collaborative, adaptable leadership style with a focus on outcomes and team development.
