You'll play a key role in ensuring Optus' managed services consistently meet or exceed client expectations, helping prevent incidents before they occur and driving continuous service improvement.
If you're detail-driven, client-focused, and thrive in complex environments, this is the role for youYour Day-to-Day: Govern and maintain Availability and Capacity Management processes across strategic enterprise accounts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Analyse performance data, availability trends, and capacity risks—delivering timely, actionable insights and preventative recommendations.
Produce and assure monthly Availability and Capacity reports, collaborating with reporting teams, engineers, and client delivery managers.
Engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders as the single point of contact for capacity- and availability-related issues, audits, or service risks.
Identify and escalate Single Points of Failure (SPOFs), working cross-functionally to remediate issues before they impact SLAs.
Maintain accurate documentation, process governance, and participate in audits to ensure operational excellence and customer confidence.What We're Looking For: Extensive experience in managed IT services, ideally in service management or client delivery.
Proven experience in Availability or Capacity Management in large, enterprise environments.
Strong working knowledge of ITIL frameworks (ITIL 4 Foundation required; PPO or Intermediate certifications highly regarded).
Analytical and technical skills across network, voice, data, and infrastructure environments, with experience using tools such as Grafana, Riverbed, Service Now, or Helix.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across business, technical, and government clients.
