Service (NMHS).
This is for a Permanent Full Time
appointment.
What is our
Coordinator Safety, Quality and Governance
role?
This position, in conjunction with the Public
Health Program Managers, provides leadership and coordination for
the safety and quality program for Public Health services in NMHS;
provides coordination, development, implementation and maintenance
of effective clinical governance systems and processes for the
Public Health services; facilitates audit processes to monitor
compliance with relevant healthcare policy, regulations and
legislative requirements; supports the development of safe,
evidence based clinical practice improvement programs and other
initiatives; provides advisory support and expert guidance in the
implementation of the National Safety and Quality Primary and
Community Healthcare Standards across the Public Health
service.

Eligibility to Apply:
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential
requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions
in the public sector.

Whilst this selection process will initially
be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill
other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service.

addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate
the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may
also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain
valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised
delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
