About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to support our client, a well-established bakery known for its high-quality, artisanal products.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations by optimizing inventory, reducing waste, and enhancing supply chain efficiency—key to maintaining product freshness and quality.

Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Process Optimization Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to procurement, production, and distribution to identify inefficiencies.
Develop data-driven recommendations to improve performance, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
Utilize analytics tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP systems) to model scenarios, forecast demand, and optimize inventory.
Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align data insights with operational needs.
Inventory Management & Reporting Conduct inventory audits to monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Generate reports on stock movements, shelf-life, and supplier lead times to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
Work with procurement to optimize order quantities, reducing spoilage while ensuring sufficient stock.
Process Improvement & Innovation Evaluate current supply chain workflows and propose improvements.
Lead initiatives to redesign processes, such as JIT inventory practices.
Recommend innovative solutions like automated tracking or vendor-managed inventory.
Support continuous improvement by analyzing KPIs and benchmarking against industry standards.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Create contingency plans for demand spikes or supplier failures.
Monitor external factors affecting ingredient availability or costs.
Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure compliance and food safety.
Implementation Support Partner with teams to implement process improvements.
Provide training on new systems or workflows.
Measure the impact of changes through relevant metrics.
Act as a liaison during rollout to ensure sustainability of solutions.
Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in a related field.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP systems).
Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of supply chain risk management and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
